1937 Colonial America Illustrations by T. R. Braithwaite

This series of nine illustrations of life in Colonial America was commissioned by The Christian Science Monitor in 1937. They reflect the period immediately preceding the American Revolution. Displayed here in grayscale, the originals are now 60 years old and the once white illustration boards have acquired a golden patina.
